This is one mobile application I can definitely use on a regular basis. We have a house full of kids, all going in different directions and it can be a challenge coordinating who’s going where and when to meet.

Introducing Huddle.

Now, I can start a conversation with my circle of family members and we can all see the conversation develop in real time so we can coordinate with everyone at the same time. SWEET!

Think of how you can use this for coordinating with your office staff or sales teams. Now start to think about how you can use all these cool new capabilities inside Google+ as they work together to enhance the sharing experience for your small business.

Creative Online Marketing Ideas Interview With Jason Sadler

Interview with Jason Sadler

Businesses and organizations, especially associations, chambers of commerce, and non-profits are always looking for creative ways to raise more money and awareness while offering value to their prospects, sponsors and donors.

So, I have been on a quest to find some of the more creative online marketing ideas that are actually working and share them with you. I discovered this very creative online marketing idea through Twitter.  I was so impressed with what I saw that I had to call the inventor and interview him for you.

His name is Jason Sadler, the co-founder of a Jacksonville Florida creative agency called Thought & Theory.

His brilliant idea is a real forehead-slapper. Once you see it, you want to slap yourself on the forehead and say, “Why didn’t I think of that?” It’s simple and absolutely brilliant because it’s really working for him.

The secret is in making it a real value to the companies that sponsor him. The tools that Jason uses are all social media tools readily available to you and your organization. Best of all… they’re FREE.

Listen in as I interview Jason about his creative and unique online marketing idea.
(This interview was originally posted on one of my other blogs in March, 2009.)

Jason has gone on to expand his IWearYourShirt concept to include other online personalities who wear your shirt and promote your business or organization. Be sure to check out the various ways he is adding value and monetizing his concepts. Brilliant!

Manufacturing Client: Show-Case Shutters

Show-Case Shutters

Show-Case Shutters is a leading manufacturer of high quality custom wood interior shutters based in Christiansburg, Virginia. They contacted Duvall Media to create a new website because they felt their old site wasn’t producing leads and didn’t show their product line as well as it should.

They also had goals for building their dealer network to strengthen their sales and diversify their income streams. So, we proposed a new logo and color scheme to update their brand, some professional photography to show off their beautiful product line, some web videos to show the quality of the work they produce as well as educate the consumer on what makes Show-Case Shutters so good and a new website to bring it all together.

Total Website Make-Over

Women Find Purpose

Jory Fisher is a True Purpose coach who had been struggling with her online marketing for several years. Her frustration was that she had spent thousands of dollars on website designs but her site just wasn’t producing leads and sales for her business. She signed up for my internet marketing workshops where she approached me about her website woes.

I decided to take on her project as an experiment. Because she had spent so much money on her website, she was reluctant to let it go and try something new. So, I proposed that we set-up an entirely new website under a different domain and let the results speak for themselves. Her expensive, non-performing site was at JoryFisherCoaching.com. Here are a few screen shots so you can see what it looked like before I went to work with her.

Web Conference With Up To Ten People Using Google+ Hangouts

I have to admit that this cool feature gets me a bit jazzed and not just because I’m a web video guy. It has real business application by allowing up to ten users to video chat or web conference with each other at the same time. This is great not just for family and friends chatting but for real collaboration.

A Closer Look At Google+ Circles

Circles let you pick and choose who gets to see the different kinds of information you share. Simply create a circle of friends to share your gossip with, a circle of family members to share your private stuff with, or a circle of business contacts to share ideas with… but you don’t want them seeing your personal stuff. Just add your contacts to whatever circle your want and then share with just those people. You don’t have to opt into Google+ to be included in a circle. If you want to add someone to it who’s not a Google+ user, you can by email.
